Hey, been noticing a few new names appearing on the forum and realised we dont have a Newbie meet and greet section.
So say 'hello' and tell us a little about yourselves.

yeh im pretty adicted to the internet, always online lol
Its pretty terrible, ive tackled rusty minis but it brings a new meaning to the term. Needs a new front, scuttle, cills floors, doors, bonet, boot lid, boot floor rear valance, quarters are shot...o and its had a rear end shunt thats been very badly repaired so its really in need of a new rear panel too. Roofs pretty good tho
Some not to bad shells on ebay tho, even some pickups

ahhhh......sounds worse than the one i've got at the moment
hehe
mine needs:
new front floors
new front end (its got a fibreglass one at the moment but its in a right state!)
new boot floor
new rear valance
repair panel to the lower half of the back end, and lower parts of each rear quarter
AND last but not least.....
....the front bulkhead has about 12 splits in it coming from the subframe mounts
a combination of solid steel mounts, and one big mother of a pothole!!
so, you can see where my dilema is!! hehe
how many people are in this mini club then?? and do you attend the big shows like "mini in the park"? |

Hiya,
We do all the major shows/runs along with a lot of local ones as well. Keep an eye on the events section for news as I get the paperwork through!
Cheers & Welcome!

Hey Northerner!!! Welcome to the East!!!! hahaha I'm a real Southerner being a cornish/sussex lass.
Glad to have you aboard, hope that we see you at a social sometime soon, afraid the only shell we have is either cut in half or twisted!!!! Although you will learn that a lot of us are very good at cutting and pasting bits of mini shell together........
Good luck with the search and hope to see you soon.....

i promise i'll stump up the cash for my membership when i'm back on the road aswell |

You dont have to have a mini on the road to join up!!! And if you're really lucky you may be able to get some hands on help with the project so that its is ready faster than a few years.........did I say that? ooops hahahhha _________________ Minis birthday and safminis too!!! |

Just past my test on the 29th May and havnt stopped driving yet. i think ive seen you lot out on a run a few times flashing and waving as you passed, but now id like to be with all of the other minis. I live in Haverhill so im not to far out, but will travel any distance in the mini (especially for camping at rallies)
