Hi everyone
its been a while since i've been on, i've been a busy bunny.
i've now got a garage door on my "car port", stripped the mini to a bare shell, and bundled it in the back of a big van to bring it down south. 
the mini-spit is almost finished, and the panels turned up from Somerford Mini this morning (i managed to track down a new toeboard to replace the torn one! woohoo!!  )
hopefully i can get some pics for you all to laugh at soon, and hopefully have it sandblasted before the end of the week to actually see how much metal is left! 
...watch this space! 
p.s. i promise i will stump up the cash for a proper membership soon!!  |

well, here's the first picture of it in action
had to buy a bigger welder in the end, my old "hobby 90" wasnt quite upto the job.
bit blurry cos its off my phone, not had time to pull the others off my camera yet.
p.s. like the giant hole in the inner wing   |

well, ive been away frm the garage again a bit....but had a full day in there yestday!
the more i poke at it, the less mini there is left!! hehe
been taking all the sound proofing off the floor pan, and found yet more holes that need patching!! hopefully when i sand blast it there'll actually be some floor left?!
....i'm thinking i wont be painting it before winter sets in, like i had hoped!
def looking forward to mini in the park though, and i'll put some upto date photobucket links up soon so everyone can see the destrcuation i've caused to my mini!!
