So how did it go???????
We just got back from St Ives, it's depressing leaving such a beautiful place and having to go back to work!
How has everyone been? Must try and get down to your meet sometime, though alas days off are few and far between.
The ferrets say hello.....
hope to see you soon.
Matt and Anna

Hi guys,
Good to hear from you, I susect that you mean the trip to Devon, which was fantastic. The best run ever this time I think as we were trying to break a world record as well so there was more involvment from the public. We think that we managed it and had 310 minis in an unbroken convoy! There were a few last minute hitches with venues cancelled and a very unforseen road closure due to a lorry getting stuck in a narrow road on the hair pin bend. (cant trust some of these lorries drivers to be clever!!) The last count up of money that I checked was something like £34,000 for the weekend and there is still sponsership money to come in. I know this becuase I havent sent mine yet!!!
The only downside to Devon is the 8 hour hike home, but we all managed with no mini breakdowns.
GLad you had a good break away, be nice to see you some time.
Are you coming to Stanford Hall on sunday?
Tickles to the ferrets from us.

dorset/devon yeh lol! Sorry for the late reply, things have been very busy and I sadly couldn't make it to Stanford (
Sounds like we really missed out on the devon trip! It took us about 6 hours to get home from st. Ives but that was in anna's polo, would have taken much longer in Rory. Good to hear there wasn't any breakdowns though. That reminds me, what was wrong with andrews mini in the end after the moorland and coastal?
Because of doing the house we havent much left over for minis this year, hopefully we'll get to more next year though!
Good to hear from you, take care xx |

Hi Matt,
The problem with the car was indeed a wheel bearing, it fell apart when I took off the hub. I've fixed it but the car is off the road now.
Thanks for your help, hope to see the two of you soon.

| Ah, so the diagnosis was correct, not much you can do about that in a carpark with no spares!!! Good to hear it's all been sorted though. What are you driving around now then? |
